The 27-year-old girl died tragically from cancer, then the family discovers this message on Facebook, published 24 hours before her death

Death is what awaits each of us sooner or later. It does not matter whether it will be the death of a close relative or your own struggle for life - in any case, it’s always difficult to face death.

Fortunately, most people start thinking about death only when they are old, but some have to face it at a much younger age. Holly Butcher was one of those people.

Holly began to think about death after she was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 26.

Before leaving our world forever, she decided to write a farewell letter, which she posted on her Facebook page on January 3, 2018.

Less than 24 hours after the letter was published, Holly passed away surrounded by her family members.

Now her message spreads around the world, touching the hearts of a huge number of people.

She begins her letter like this:

“It is strange to realize and accept your death at 26 years old. Usually we just don’t think about it. Days go by, and you think it will always be like this. Until one day the unexpected happens. I always imagined how I would grow old, turn gray and cover with wrinkles, devoting myself to a large family (where there are many children), which I planned to build with a loved one. I wanted it so much that now it causes me intolerable mental pain. ”

“But this is life: it is fragile, priceless and unpredictable, and every day is a gift, and not a given at all.

I am now 27 years old. I do not want to leave this world. I love my life. I'm happy. I owe this to my loved ones. But I can not control life.

I wrote this post “before I die,” not because I fear death. I like the fact that we are mostly not aware of its inevitability. Except for me, who decided to share her thoughts. It's not customary to talk about this topic, it’s taboo, as if it will never happen to us ... Therefore, it’s not so easy for me.

I just want people to finally stop worrying about insignificant, meaningless things in their lives and remember that at the end of the journey only one fate awaits all of us. Therefore, do everything possible to live your life well and with dignity, not paying attention to any nonsense.

In my post, I share different thoughts, because in the past few months I have had a lot of time to think about my life. Of course, most often such thoughts occur to me in the middle of the night!

In those moments when you complain about all sorts of trivialities (and in recent months I have noticed a lot of things like this), just think about who really faced the problem. Thank fate for minor troubles and forget about them. And even if something annoys you, the main thing is not to dwell on it and try not to put anger on other people.

Go to fresh air, breathe deeply in this fresh Australian air, look at the blue sky and green trees; it's so beautiful. Think how lucky you are that you can do it - breathe.

Perhaps today you have fallen into a terrible traffic jam or you have not slept, because your wonderful children did not let you sleep, or your hairdresser cut your hair too short. Maybe you broke your newly added nails, you have small breasts, cellulite in the back, or creases in the abdomen.

Forget this nonsense. I swear, you will not think about such things when it is your turn to leave. All this is so unimportant, if you look at life as a whole. I see my body disappearing right before my eyes, and I can’t do anything about it. All I want now is to celebrate another birthday and Christmas with my family, or to spend another day with a loved one and a dog. Just one more.

I heard people complaining about terrible work or how hard it was to work out in the gym - be grateful for being able to do physical work. Work and exercise may seem like normal things ... as long as your body can do them.

I have always tried to lead a healthy lifestyle, perhaps it was even my main passion. Appreciate your health and performance, even if your body size is not ideal for you.Take care of your body and do not forget about his amazing abilities. Train your body and eat right. But do not dwell on it.

Remember that there are other indicators of good health than the physical shell. Also try to find a source of spiritual, emotional and spiritual joy. Thus, you will understand how in reality the image of an ideal body imposed by the mass media is insignificant and unimportant. To do this, delete any account that appears in the feed of your news, which at least a little bit inspires you with a sense of insecurity. It does not matter whether this is your friend’s account or not ... Be ruthless for the sake of your own well-being.

Be thankful for every day when nothing hurts. And even on days when you feel unwell because of a cold, a torn back or a sprained ankle, be grateful that this does not pose a threat to life and sooner or later will pass.

People, complain less and help each other more!

Give, give and give again. It’s true that doing more for others than for yourself makes you feel happier. Sorry, I did it not so often.

Since I got sick, I met incredibly generous and kind people, I heard many sensitive and pleasant words, I received support from my family members, friends and strangers to me; More than I can give in return. I will never forget this and will forever be grateful to all these people.

It's terrible when you start spending all the money you have at the end ... when you die. This is not the case when you go to the store and buy something material, for example, a new dress. It makes you wonder how stupid it is that we spend so much money on new clothes and different things.

Instead of another new dress, a new-fashioned cosmetic product or jewelry, it’s better to buy something good for your friends.1. Nobody cares if you put on the same thing twice. 2. You will like it. Invite friends to a cafe, or better yet, make dinner yourself. Treat them to coffee. Give / buy some plant, a certificate for a massage, but at least a decorative candle and say that you love them when you give your gift.

Be able to appreciate the time of another person. If you're used to being late, don't make them wait.Start preparing for the meeting in advance. Appreciate that friends want to share their time with you, and do not sit staring at the phone, waiting for your young man. This will earn you their respect! Amen sister.

This year we in the family have agreed not to make any gifts. Despite the fact that the tree looked rather sad (on Christmas Eve I almost completely lost my nerves!), It was so nice that no one had to go shopping for gifts, and everyone focused on writing original congratulations to each other's postcards. Imagine if my family will look for a gift for me, knowing that he will eventually stay with them ... rather strange, right ?! It may sound unconvincing, but the cards mean a lot more spontaneously acquired gifts to me. In addition, there are no small children in the house, so this solution suits everyone. The moral of my story is that the meaning of Christmas is not in gifts at all, but in relation to each other. Moving on.

Spend money on travel. Or, at least, do not postpone the trip, because you have spent all the money on material, essentially unnecessary, benefits.

Make an effort to finally make a day trip to the beach, which you have been postponing all the time. Immerse yourself in the water, bury yourself in the sand. Moisten your face with salt water.

Relax in nature.

Just feel the moment and enjoy it, instead of shooting it on the camera of your smartphone.

Life is not meant to live through the screen, or to create the perfect photo ... enjoy beautiful moments, people! Stop catching them for others.

Random rhetorical question. Are those few hours that you spend every day styling hair and makeup or endless fees in a nightclub really worth it? I never understood this in girls.

At least occasionally get up early to listen to the birds and watch how the rising sun paints with its colors a still sleepy city.

Listen to the music ... just listen. Music is a medicine. And old music is better.

Hug your pet. Even being far away, I will miss my dog.

Talk to your friends. Find out if everything is alright?

Work to live, but do not live to work.

Seriously, do what makes your heart beat faster.

Eat the cake. And no guilt feelings!

Say no to what you do not want to do.

Resist the opinion of others about what is considered a full life. Perhaps you like a different, mediocre life, and there is nothing wrong with that!

Tell your loved ones that you love them every time you can say it, and love them with all your heart.

In addition, remember that if something makes you unhappy, it is in your power to change it - work, personal relationships, whatever that may be. Take courage and change it in your life. You do not know how much time you have on this earth, so do not waste it on something that makes it impossible for you to be happy. I know this is often written and said, but in these words the truth.

Anyway, this is just a tip from a young girl. Want - listen, and want - no, I do not mind!

And finally: if you have such an opportunity, do a good deed for humanity (and for me as well) and start donating blood on a regular basis. This will help you save someone’s life, and as a bonus, you will feel good.I’m sorry that fewer people are willing to act as a donor, given that each donation of blood can save 3 lives! This is a huge contribution that practically every person can make, and the procedure itself is very simple and painless.

The donated blood (I had already lost the counting of the bags, to be honest) gave me the opportunity to live another year, for which I will forever be grateful. She let me spend it in our beautiful world, with my family, friends and beloved dog. This year gave me a lot of unforgettable moments.

“Until we meet again!

Love holly

I missed every word of Holly through my heart and now I'm crying. It may not be so easy to follow her advice in the daily turmoil of days, but if we remember them more often, our world will be a little better, and people will be a little happier.
